• Contains a 0.05% concentration of Tween® 20.

  Because of the high purity and stability of the Tween 20 used in Intercept T20 Antibody Diluent, the concentration of 0.05% is sufficient. When using standard research grade Tween 20, use a concentration of 0.2%. See the NIR Western Blot Protocol (licorbio.com/wbanalysis) for more information.

• Suitable for a variety of applications, including: quantitative Western blots, chemiluminescent Western blots, In‑Cell Western™ Assay, In-Gel Western, protein array, and glycoprotein detection.

Description (Intercept T20 Antibody Diluent)

Intercept T20 Antibody Diluents improve specificity of primary and secondary antibodies, reducing off-target effects. The diluent contains Intercept (PBS) Blocking Buffer or Intercept (TBS) Blocking Buffer preformulated with Tween® 20. When using a PVDF membrane, your secondary antibody diluent must contain a final concentration of 0.01 – 0.02% SDS.

Since there’s no need to mix the diluent yourself, you can save time and reduce steps in your protocol that might lead to variability in your results.
