Perform Verification of Operations Test on Odyssey DLx or Odyssey CLx

Clean the 25 cm x 25 cm scanning surface with 70% ethanol and lint free wipes. The scanning surface must be free of lint and completely dry before the test pattern is placed on the surface.

Place the test pattern (P/N 9991-083) face down on the scanning surface. Position the test pattern in the front left corner of the scanning surface and set the 25 x 25 cm silicone pad on top of it.
- The LI‑COR test pattern must be held flat on the corner being scanned.
- For each corner to be scanned, move the silicon pad to the corner, then perform the scan.
- Start LI‑COR Acquisition Software
, if you have not already.
- Select your Username and Image Data Folder.
- Click Scan
.
- Choose the imager you want to connect to.
- Click Connect.
- Click the imager name displayed in the top left corner of the LI‑COR Acquisition Software window.
- In the menu that opens, select .
- You will be prompted to respond if all four corners of the test target are held down. If not all the corners are held down, you will be prompted during the VNOT scan process to switch where the weight is located. The scan will proceed on the corner that is weighted down.
- Click .
- Once the scans have completed, click .
- Choose where to export the file.
- Email the exported file with the Support Scientist who shared this document with you.
- In the email, use the subject line
VNOT DLX-XXXX
. - The LI‑COR Service Team will review the information and verify the system is working properly.
Perform Verification of Operations Test on Odyssey XF or Odyssey Fc

Remove the Odyssey XF test target from its storage sleeve and place it in a well-lit area for a minimum of 3 minutes to charge the phosphorescent portion.
The target used for this test must be in excellent condition. Do not use any target that has not been stored properly or that has been contaminated or damaged in any way.

Push the drawer button and ensure that the drawer opens all the way.

Place the test target in the drawer by itself with the printed side up. Do not use a tray.

Push the drawer button again. Ensure the drawer closes all the way without making any unusual sounds that may indicate that the motor is running against the mechanical stop.
- Start LI‑CORĀ® Acquisition Software
, if you have not already.
- Select your Username and Image Data Folder.
- Click Scan
.
- Choose the imager you want to connect to.
- Click Connect.
- Click the imager name displayed in the top left corner of the LI‑COR Acquisition Software window.
- In the menu that opens, select .
- Click .
- Once the scan is complete, click .
- Choose where to export the file.
- Email the exported file to the Support Scientist who shared this document with you.
- In the email, use the subject line

. - The LI‑COR Service Team will review the information and verify the system is working properly.
